Little is known about Mito but he did appear to care for his adopted family.

The kids in the Forest of Poison and Monsters - X, Ash and Anne - all respected Mito and saw him as an older brother. Despite him being dead, they all remember him fondly. X and Ash call him Mito-Hyung and Anne calls him Mito-Oppa.[1][2]

Little is known about Mito's combat prowess, but he did teach X, Ash and Anne how to fight.[1]
