Family

Wife

His relationship with his wife was never has not been revealed but Han Sung-Gong said that if she was alive, she would have been against his game development project.

Han Gun-Woo

Everyone wants something out of me but you're the only one that gives me something, Gun-Woo.
 ― Han Gun-Jae[source]

Han Gun-Jae cares for his grandson dearly as he is the only person that gave him something without expecting anything in return.[1] Unlike his sons, who he had an almost business like relationship with and criticised, he teased Dark and even was not angry when Dark interrupted him during a meeting.[1]

Han Gun-Jae used to play video games with Dark when he was younger and even received an ugly gift from him which made him happy. Dark was the first person that Han Gun-Jae invited to play Lucid Adventure. He was extremely worried when Dark seemed to be choking in the game.

After Han Gun-Jae fell into a coma, their close relationship caused Dark to be killed by his family members every time he logged into Lucid Adventure to look for him. Despite Han Gun-Jae being chased, he still tries to help Dark by giving him a generous quest to help him level up and become stronger.[2]

Upon reuniting with Dark, their closeness can be seen as Dark was able to pull his ponytail and chastise him. He encouraged Dark to find the answer in Lucid Adventure and told him he believed in him before he leaving Leaf Dungeon with The Antler.[3]

Han Sung-Gong

Han Gun-Jae had an almost business like relationship with his son, Han Sung-Gong, and don't see eye to eye on a lot of issues. He was referred to as 'Chairman' rather than Father by Sam. Sam was highly against Han Gun-Jae's massive investment in Lucid Adventure as his guys had reviewed it and said the idea was not possible.[1] This is the reason Han Gun-Jae was surprised to see Han Sung-Gong playing Lucid Adventure.

Despite their differences, Han Gun-Jae believed Sam is a competent and bright leader but believes that his biggest weakness is that he believes he can always have his own way.

He left Sam in charge of Giga to suppress Nightmare. Sam and Giga ended up joining Nightmare and becoming Nightmares themselves They have become corrupt and are doing the opposite of what he wishes despite Sam believing that he is fulfilling his will. He believes Zero has tricked Sam and he is inadvertently bringing about the destruction of the world.

Han Gun-Jae tried to delete him from the game but Han Sung-Gong's personal attribute prevented him from doing so. Due to Han Sung-Gong's abilities, Han Gun-Jae exhausted all his power and was forced to log out of Lucid Adventure which led to him almost dying in the real world.

Han Sung-Joo

As one of Han Gun-Jae's children, it can be assumed Han Gun-Jae cared about her.

Second Son

As one of Han Gun-Jae's children, it can be assumed that he cared about him. The 2nd Son has not been seen in the series.

Han Sung-Hyun

Han Gun-Jae's third and last child. Han Gun-Jae cared about Han Sung-Hyun as he was worried about his survival because the latter seems to be always 'chasing someone's tail' and that it will not do him good. Although he thought that his son was pitiful.

According to Han Sung-Hyun, his father always shot down his confidence and had been that way with him since the beginning.

Han Gun-Ho

As one of his grandchildren, it can be assumed that Han Gun-Jae cares about him although this is hard to tell since the only shown interaction between them is when Gun-Ho attempted to capture Han Gun-Jae in the game which lead to Han Gun-Jae eliminating him.

Han Soo-Ah

As one of his grandchildren, it can be assumed that Han Gun-Jae cares about her.

Han Gun-Soo

As one of his grandchildren, it can be assumed that Han Gun-Jae cares about him.

Gods

Zero

Zero was first created when Han Gun-Jae's ideas merged with the core of The God's Toy. On first seeing her, Han Gun-Jae remarked that she looked like an in-game NPC. She is a 'God' that was used as a tool to create the world that he envisioned.

Whatever Zero saw during her research of the real world changed her. She currently wants to destroy Lucid Adventure to prevent the players from corrupting it.

She is currently in possession of the hand he cut off and is trying to create a weapon that can penetrate his 'Divine Flesh' and kill him.[4]

God of Combat

One of Han Gun-Jae's creation. Both seem to be on good terms with one another. God Of Combat is the only god that Han Gun-Jae trusts as he left the entire ordeal of their bet to him.

God of Blessings

One of Han Gun-Jae's creations. The God of Blessings is the only god shown to be disrespectful towards Han Gun-Jae, his own creator, interrupting him in the middle of his words and saying why would they need to follow him although Han Gun-Jae doesn't really mind it at all.

Three Goddesses of Fate

One of Han Gun-Jae's creations. The three goddesses of fate seem to be on friendly terms as well with Han Gun-Jae. They had obeyed Han Gun-Jae and teleported both armies back to their lands.

God of Death

One of Han Gun-Jae's creations. Though there wasn't much interaction between, it can be assumed that the God of Death respects Han Gun-Jae as their creator.

Primordial Dragons

Dragon of Light

Dragon of Evil

Others

The Witch

When Han Gun-Jae first met the Witch in person, he thought it was ridiculous and immediately tried to leave until the Witch dragged him through her phone and went into space to create a new world. After that, Han Gun-Jae was in awe, so the Witch returned him and told him to bring the money soon. They seem to have maintained a business relationship in the creation of Lucid even playing together with Dark.

Sora

Under the alias 'Novelist Han', Han Gun-Jae first met Sora during his writing albeit he had noticed her observing him for quite a while. He had declined her request of becoming her teacher at first until he thought that Sora looked like one of the characters in his book and agreed to become her teacher until he leaves the mountain. Han Gun-Jae trained Sora for a year and when it was time for him to leave, Sora was agitated since he only taught her one move and eating. Han Gun-Jae explained that eating will be her strength and that one day she'll realize the fruits of her training. He was embarrassed however, when the gift he gave Sora was a pair of Dragon Panties to which he quickly explained that it was purely for story material.

Hardcore Leveling Warrior

Under the alias 'Novelist Han', Han Gun-Jae met Hardcore Leveling Warrior on his way to Cobalt Castle, he had asked him a couple of questions and after Hardcore answered them, Han Gun-Jae stated that he has a temper and should listen to his elders to which Hardcore shrugged off. Han Gun-Jae asked him another pair of questions regarding about his friends and after Hardcore answered the last question, he said that Hardcore is bad tempered and slow-witted. When Han Gun-Jae dealt with the enemies using the Treasured Sword of the Knights - The 7 Truths that blocked their path, Hardcore Leveling Warrior was in awe and asked who he was.

When Hardcore Leveling Warrior's soul was being transported to the real world after he died, Han Gun-Jae stopped him midway. Hardcore Leveling Warrior complained and asked why and Han Gun-Jae said that he was still swearing like a sailor and that Han Gun-Jae butted in himself since Hardcore was an exception.

Lali Luga

As Novelist Han, he and Lali Luga were on good terms as he had often bought writing materials from the latter from time to time.

Yopy

Han Gun-Jae first met Yopy when Yopy was on the verge of being pecked to death by purple phoenix's chicks, he stopped them and asked why Yopy let them do that when he was much stronger. Yopy explained that he wouldn't get the hidden reward if he did and he liked the challenge. Han Gun-Jae liked his love for Lucid and asked him for favor.
