Grian Den

Grian Den was a Demon Prince in Lucid Adventure. He was the 3rd Demon Prince, the youngest son of the 16th Demon King, Sik, and the brother of Ge Des and Ruud Ra Kan. Along with his brothers, Grian Den was sealed in the Demon World by the Ancient Knights after the demons lost the Human-Demon War.

Grian Den was released back into the world along with other demons after the seal on the Demon World was broken by Nightmare. After engaging Giga, Grian Den was eventually killed by Constant.

 Appearance

Grian Den is a mauve-skinned demon with white hair and ram horns. He wears a dark grey cloak with a black fur mantle and light grey shoulder plates on both sides. He also wear a dark green stand collar short coat, dark green gloves and dark green waistcloth with white markings, black clothes and black pants underneath. He wears white bandages around his left shin and light grey boots.

When he was a child, he wore a black vest with white long sleeve collar shirt underneath and white cuffs. He has a red napkin tucked insides his chest and he wears black shorts with knee high socks and black shoes.

During the war against Humans, he wore full black armor with red linings across his body and a red cape.

Personality

Grian Den is shown to be arrogant and thinks himself superior towards humans. Though he is quick to realize his mistakes once he experiences it. He seems to be a desperate person as he immediately accepted Nightmare without hesitation.

As his father, Grian Den highly respects him and was willing to go down the ruined path his father had chosen.

Ruud Ra Kan

Grian Den was on good terms with Ruud Ra Kan as both of them ruled the Demon World together. He was close enough with Ruud that he had felt his presence disappear.

Ge Des

Grian Den was on good terms with Ge Des as both of them ruled the Demon World together. He and Ge Des created a war game that was similar to chess. Although Grian Den was the one that created the game, Ge Des beat him every single time.

Though not family, Gorgota and Grian Den had good relations as the former had seem to always give the latter books every now and then when Grian Den was a child.

Constant

At first, Grian Den thought Constant was just a cursed human and that his twisted mana was more like a curse than a buff. Grian Den was surprised by Constant's power and quickly realized that he was no match for him unless he used Nightmare. Needless to say, he fell into despair as Constant killed him regardless of his Nightmarized state.

Abilities

Overview

As the direct descendant of the Demon King and the Third Prince, Grian Den was one of the most powerful demons. He is a powerful demonic magician, able to cast multiple fatal spells in an instance without even looking at his opponent. He's supposedly extremely efficient against close-ranged fighters especially those without weapons as they would be unable to get near him.

Nighmarization

Grian Den was able to nightmarize much like Ruud Ra Kan, however, it was only short-lived as Constant instantly killed him as he finished his transformation.

Combat Style

Grian Den is a proficient wizard that is able to both attack and defend very well at any range. He is able to automatically cast magic whenever an opponent gets close.

As the Third Prince and Royal of the Demon World, Grian Den has access to these skills.

  • Royal Demon's Eyes: As a Royal Demon, Grian Dan is able to analyze the skill of his opponents.
  • Demon's Blood: As a demon, Grian Den is capable of regenerating fatal injuries within seconds.

Demon Magic

  • The Wind of the Demon World: Grian Den unleashes a powerful gust of wind that slices the target.
  • Demonic Eyes: A passive skill that enables Grian Den to see the effect of the mana wrapped around a target.
  • Auto Casting:: Grian Den's passive skill that automatically casts spells/attack against any targets.
  • Crystal Spear: highly condensed crystal spears made out of pure demonic spell power. It is also enchanted with de-spell magic.

History

Background

Grian Den was born as the last son of the Demon King, Sik. He was seen as a child lecturing his older brother, Ge Des.

He was then seen also participating in the Human-Demon War and was sealed by his own father in a barrier that lasted until the end of the war.

Season 2

Beyond the Boundary Arc

Grian Den was introduced fending off Giga's forces and blasting away Guan Yu. He was then confronted by Constant who he thought was twisted and cursed due to his mana.

They both began to fight with Constant engaging and appearing behind Grian Den instantly. However, Grian Den saw this and easily fended off Constant with his magic, removing the latter's collar as well. After Constant used his True Awakening, Grian Den tried to attack him with his crystal magic again but it proved useless as Constant nullified it without effort.

Grian Den was highly shocked and become desperate as he Nightmarized himself without hesitation, encasing himself in his own mana crystal that easily blocked Constant's punch. However, even after he Nightmarized himself, it was all for naught as Constant defeated him by 'ripping out' his Nightmare Core.

Grian Den fell into despair as he was overwhelmingly defeated by Constant and was killed by the latter as well.

Legacy

After Grian Den's death, his soul fragments were taken by Constant but most of it was stolen by a Nightmare Crow.

It is unknown if Grian Den had left any children behind.
