Character Name[]
The character's name is 만월 류 which translates to Full Moon Ryu.
만월 is the Korean form of the Chinese characters, 滿月, which means "full moon". 보름달 is the pure Korean word for full moon and is more commonly used.
'류', pronounced "Ryu", is the Korean form of the hanja 流. In Japanese, 流 (りゅう) translates to "art forms; methods; styles and techniques peculiar to a person or house". 류 is also the Japanese word for "dragon" 龍/竜(りゅう), which fits the character's Dragon motif.
Epithet[]
기사단 제일의 검 means The Best Sword of the Knights or The First Sword of the Knights. WEBTOON translated it as The Ultimate Sword of the Knights.
As described here, 기사단 means "knights; the knights; knights order".
제일(第一) means "the first among many; #1; number one; first (in a test, competition, etc.); the most; the best".
의 means the suffix -’s. It Indicates that the previous word has possession of the next one. It functions like the English suffix “’s”, or like the word “of” with the position of possessor and possessee switched. So basically "X's ball" or "Ball of X".
