Translation Issues[]

Main Article: LINE Webtoon Translation Issues

'쌍절' is incorrectly translated as 'Twin Slash' and 'Double Slash' by Line Webtoon in Season 2 Episode 48, and 'Twin Slash' in Season 2 Episode 53 and Season 2 Episode 89

'쌍' means 'pair'; 'double'; 'twin'. '절' means Lacerate as translated by Line Webtoon in the series. The correct name for the skill is either Double Lacerate or Twin Lacerate.

Notes & Trivia[]

  • Depending on the motion used by The Best Swordsman, the skill can be delivered as a cross slash or two parallel vertical slashes.[1]
  • It has been assumed that The Best Swordsman used the Lacerate (切).
  • Curiously, the cross slash variation of this skill is identical to Lacerate(節) that Hardcore Leveling Warrior used on Nightmare Light, but that was simply called Lacerate (節) instead of 'Double Lacerate (節)' .
