The Special Investigation Department[4], also known as Giga Special Department[1], the 13th Team[1], Giga's Secret Department[2] and the Secret Service Department[3] is team of the Giga Empire. It's current Team Leader is Gorilla.
Overview[]
On the surface, the team is an investigation department that monitors Giga's allies.[4] In reality, it is a highly trained covert assassination squad that operates in the shadows. They carry out several secret operations that have included information suppression through memory wipes.
For the sake of secrecy, members of the Special department are not allowed to be ranked and they do not usually get involved with combat in the open.[5]
It is a team that is known for being composed of highly-paid elite players who obeyed the orders of Han Gun-Ho, but that was only a front, and not all of the 13th Team members joined voluntarily. They were either having their lives ruined and then forced to listen, or through any means, he dug up their weaknesses to make them obey his commands. A 'master' who makes everyone obey with so-called 'feeds'.[6]

- In Korea, 'Special Department' (특수부) is the name the media calls the 'Special Investigation Department' (특별수사부). The Special Investigation Department is an 'Anti Corruption Investigation Department' (반부패수사부) that deals with special cases. While the criminal department investigates general criminal cases sent by the police and some accusations, the special department recognizes and investigates the crime itself. It mainly investigates power-type corruption and large-scale economic cases of politicians and high-ranking officials, and it is installed in only 7 district prosecutors out of 18 prosecutors' offices in Korea.
- The secret royal inspector (암행어사) was a temporary position unique to the Joseon Dynasty, in which an undercover official directly appointed by the king was sent to local provinces to monitor government officials and look after the populace while traveling incognito. Unlike regular inspectors whose activities under Office of Inspector General were official and public, the appointment and activities of secret royal inspectors were kept strictly secret throughout the mission.
